 I participated as one of the vendors at the Wine festival at Ford Rodd today. It was a scorcher!

Tired

Here's another sketch from yesterday. These tourists looked so tired.  I just had to capture their expressions. I intentionally left out most of the colour as it makes for a no energy feel to the sketches. 

Sitting on the Curb

It was a scorching hot Canada Day. I was in the crowd in front of the parliament building. Though it was a festive atmosphere people were looking for shade and a place to sit. Here's a sketch of some folks   resting on the curb under the shade of a big tree.

Here's a Willows Beach scene I found when I was flipping through my old sketchbooks today.  I would like to develop this into a painting.
